The Story so far . . .

For the past 30+ years the club's dojo has been based in Queens Park Sport Centre, Boythorpe Road, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, S40 2ND.

Satori Shotokan Karate Club was established in 1975 and has been affiliated to the Karate Union of Great Britain since that time.

The club trains twice a week at two different venues, (see Training Times page)
Sunday 10.30am-12.00 noon and Thursday 6.30-8.00pm.

The Chief Instructor of the club Dudley Wheatcroft is a Long Standing Member of the KUGB having joined in the late 1960's.

National and International competitions are regularly entered by members, with members encouraged to obtain DBS, First Aid and Judge/Referee qualifications.

The club has Four Senior KUGB Qualified Instructors holding Enhanced DBS Accreditations and First Aid Certificates.

All ages from 8 years old to senior Citizen, beginners to advanced, are welcome.
Free Club Membership. KUGB Licence fee applies.
Training Fees: Members and Beginners £6.00 per session.

Self Defence classes for Ladies and Bo (staff) classes for all Adults to senior citizens are held during the daytime.

Conflict Management classes (at your own premises) for organisations, groups of adults, businesses and their staff, through out the East Midlands.
